Interview with Alfred Hitchcock's Granddaughter

We are pumped over our last show! A first for the geeks here at "Wait, I Know This!" as we were broadcasting LIVE from an historic theatre during their classic film series on Alfred Hitchcock.
The movie of the night was "Strangers On A Train" and how cool was it that while we went about our business of interviewing Alfred Hitchcock's granddaughter (I know. Too cool. Her name is Tere Carrubba and there's more on that coming up) the audio was being pumped into the theatre for the audience to hear while waiting for the movie to begin.
The tech heads at the theatre also had our live chat room being displayed on a 40-foot screen in the 81-year-old theatre.
You have to listen to the show on the blue player to the right. We found out some pretty cool stuff about Hitch's innovative techniques as well as his personal life as told through the eyes of his granddaughter.
In fact... did you know that Hitch had a phobia of police officers? Listen to the show for more.
It was truly one of the best shows yet. People in the theatre were handing me questions to ask our guests while listening to the show.
And by the way, check out author Jeff Kraft's book Footsteps In The Fog (
www.footstepsinthefog.com) It is incredible. You will hear from Jeff himself in the interview...check it out now. Happy listening and we will see you on the 18th at 6pm...(Note the time change)

An Affair of The Family with Cissy, Buffy and Jody

Our interview with the always adorable Kathy Garver (Cissy on Family Affair) http://www.kathygarver.com/ was a blast! Who could forget Uncle Bill, his english gentleman Mr. French and the orphaned kids left to Bill Davis (Cissy, Buffy and Jody).
I don't know of a single little girl growing up with me that didn't want a Mrs Beasley doll!
I can still sing the theme song to this very day.
I gotta say that Kathy had some pretty cool notches on her career belt.
For example, did you know she provided the voice for Firestar on "Spiderman and his amazing friends"....among other cartoon characters.
And would you have ever gotten this question right....Did she actually star in an Israeli stage version of the famous Family Affair? The answer...YES! You have to listen to our podcast interview to hear those details. Kathy was also rocketed to stardom by one of the most famous directors of all time...Cecil B. DeMille. He noticed her as a bit part in The Ten Commandments and gave her a little more face time on the film. I didn't even know she was IN that film!! Wow.
She is truly a class act and was a lot of fun in the interview. She hit every topic from the untimely death of Anissa Jones (Buffy) to a peak into the unusual events behind the casting of Mr. French.
Be sure to check out Kathy's website!! www.kathygarver.com

Please check out the podcast when you can...and get ready for next week as we head ON THE ROAD!! Its the first time the show will be broadcast live on location from an historic landmark theatre having its classic film series dedicated to Alfred Hitchcock. We are working on lining up Hitchcock's daughter!! We'll see...no confirmation as of yet. Hope to see you there!!

By the way, this week we are on a different night. Friday at 7pm EST. Make a note faithful followers.
