I will never forget that night in 1980 30 years ago today when I heard Howard Cosell make the announcement during Monday Night Football.
Just 16 years before, America was invaded by The Beatles and was taken by storm. Hard to believe that one insane fan could change rock-and-roll forever. I choose to remember him other ways.
